BookMarks is part self-help, part memoir, and interweaves excerpts from hundreds of interviews I've conducted with bestselling authors.

This is my unique story, blended with journalistic training and integrity:

Take a tot who is born in a New York City home filled with magic, music, healing, and love...and remove her, as a four-year old, to an isolated town where she is never to see her real father again, and she's brought up by her stepfather, a tall, dark, handsome pedophile, and a beautiful mother who is a suicidal, alcoholic schizophrenic. Both are skilled actors. The only way this child will survive is through her rich fantasy life...and books.

Fast-forward to a career as an author-interviewer -- once afraid to speak, now talking to authors whose books grace The New York Times Bestsellers list, and finding that the right author comes to town at the right time.
